By now, I hope you have been able to get your hands on a copy of COMO Living. We are so proud of this product and couldn’t wait to introduce it to you. You might also be wondering why we decided to launch this “new” magazine with two covers! There are a few reasons for this:
- Keith Borgmeyer, our graphic designer/photographer/creative genius took some beautiful images when we were shooting for our December/January fashion spread. When we sat down to look at the raw images a few days later, the photo of Pablo and the photo of Julie really stood out. The following Thursday at our full staff meeting, Tami Turner, CITY Magazine publisher, said, “Well, why don’t you just print two covers. Half of one and half of the other?” Brilliant, we said. So, we decided to go with it.
- We wanted COMO Living to be a true representation of the city we all know and love, COMO. Our city is diverse, bustling and growing each and every day. Columbia Home was geared more towards women, and every time we would do a survey or get our information back from our audits, the numbers never lied. Well, news flash, Columbia isn’t just made up of a bunch of women ages 35-65! The direction of our content, new design features and online resources are made to cater to both men and women. By printing Pablo on one of our covers, it is a true statement of the direction of this magazine and our amazing city.
