Selfie Love

Selfie Love is an immersive selfie museum and photography studio where customers can take amateur, semi-professional, and/or professional pictures with friends, family, co-workers, or alone using their own phone or camera. Selfie Love serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and it also has an event space available to rent for parties, fundraisers, networking events, team building/meetings, video production, photo shoots, and all other types of events!  The space can seat 50 guests and host 75 standing attendees. Owners Lisa Wampler and Destiny McKnight say that when they met, they immediately hit it off as friends, entrepreneurs, and industry professionals. Together, they have the same vision of bringing more of the modern event designs and unforgettable entertainment experiences that they’ve seen in bigger cities to COMO. Plans for the future? “We plan to keep refreshing our sets as the seasons change, and to participate in all of the fun and exciting events that the district hosts every year.”

The Walters Team

Recently known as “Homes By Megan,” Megan Walters and her team have rebranded and expanded to “The Walters Team,” and they are now powered by the tech-based company of eXp Realty. This change came after months of research into the future of real estate and how to better serve clients and scale to new heights! The Walters Team is known for its nationally and locally awarded agents, unbeatable marketing, top results for clients, nationwide partnerships, and being the only team in the area certified in luxury housing. The future for The Walters Team is bright as it will search for a new ‘hub’ that will house some of the top local agents in Mid-Missouri.

Tacos 4 Life

Tacos 4 Life, an Arkansas-based taco restaurant on a mission to help end world hunger, will open a COMO location this fall  with father-son franchisees Brad and Drew Vaden at the helm. “We couldn’t be more excited to be a part of the Columbia community,” said Austin Samuelson, co-founder of Tacos 4 Life. “We’re blessed to continue to expand in Missouri with the help of our guests and mission-oriented franchisees like Brad and Drew. ” Tacos 4 Life helps fight world hunger by donating $0.24 for every taco, salad, rice bowl, nacho, or quesadilla sold to non-profit partner Feed My Starving Children. Since its inception, Tacos 4 Life has donated over 25 million meals. Drew says, “Columbia takes pride in supporting their local businesses and we know the Tacos 4 Life mission will be no different.”
