October 10 is the new deadline for applications for the Leadership Columbia class of 2025. The six-month program by the Columbia Chamber of Commerce is designed to cultivate future community leaders through engaging activities and strategic education.

Participants join orientation, retreats, regular sessions, and graduation, with opportunities for hands-on experiences and interactions with current leaders.

Class members are required to fully participate in the thirteen program activities, including an orientation, retreat, regular sessions, and graduation day. The program also involves leadership-building group activities designed to expose participants to the industry area covered in each session.

Each application is reviewed by a steering committee that looks at individual qualifications and a broad spectrum of experience. The steering committee aims to select a diverse representation of all segments of the community.
