Assistant Vice President/Regional Managing Officer, Boone County National Bank – Age: 32
When it comes to company commitment at Boone County National Bank, Suzie Naeger has gone above and beyond. Since starting out at Boone Bank as a teller 13 years ago, she has held the positions of customer service representative, assistant manager, Rock Bridge Branch manager, consumer banking officer, West Broadway managing officer and regional managing officer, before bumping up to her current position as assistant vice president and regional managing officer.
Naeger graduated from Hickman High School in 1993 and served as a team leader for Adventure Club, a kids’ after-school program, for a year while attending the University of Missouri-Columbia. In 1994 she hopped aboard at Boone County National Bank and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in agricultural economics in 2002.
This past May Naeger earned a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in financial services and risk management from Stephens College.
Naeger and her husband, Jason, have been married for nine years and live in Hallsville with their two daughters, Lauren, 6, and Morgan, 19 months. Naeger’s hobbies include scrapbooking, music, working on her family cattle farm, golf, tennis and spending time with her family.
“No matter how small an action is, if it helps someone else, it improves our community,” said Naeger. “I look for opportunities to share the gift of knowledge shared with me. Mentoring others to be compassionate leaders who actively seek to understand the perspectives of others before they take action will lead to a community that has a niche for everyone.”
Naeger’s community efforts include Co-Chair for Boone County National Bank’s March of Dimes fund-raising, Women’s Network mentoring and Steering Committee, Easter Seals volunteer, Treasurer for Boone County Senior 4-H Council, United Way volunteer, the University of Missouri Business School’s P.L.A.N. mentoring, and the Two Mile Prairie PTA.
